To further facilitate disabled persons to drive a vehicle and to protects the legitimate rights and interests of disabled persons, recently, the Ministry of Public Security is planning to supplement and modify "application of motor vehicle driver's license and use of provisions" (the Ministry of Public Security Order No. 91)，and right now is soliciting public opinions 。
The Ministry of Public Security pays high attention to legitimate rights and interests of disabled persons all the time, and take positive measures to support and promote the work of disabled people with driving a vehicle . At present, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Ministry of Public Security, person with disability in left lower extremity is allowed o drive a vehicle ,which includes mini-laden vehicle, besides all small automatic car. March 1, 2008, the national standards of "physically disabled manipulation assist device driving a motor vehicle," was implemented . Since then, the Ministry of Public Security and CDPF specialized work its promotion, and actively created conditions for introduction of driving a motor vehicle policy for disabled persons. |
