Care & Rehabilitation Expo China 2009, sponsored by China Disabled Persons’Federation and China Ageing Committee ,was successfully held its opening ceremony in 10^th,Oct.2009 in China International Exhibition center(Beijing).During the show,most advanced assistive devices and technology from both domestic and oversea companies have attracted lots of disabled people, old people and their relatives， such as barrier-free house experiencing areas, sitting chairs and walking trainer for Children with cerebral palsy

It showed people all categories of assistive devices covering from daily living aids , wheelchair lifter,barrier-free automobiles and other exhibits for physical, hearing and visual disability and etc.Among them, most are first dispalyed in China like  sitting chairs and walking trainer for Children with cerebral palsy, special electric visual aids for low-visual children, special telephone for elderly people and diabeties shoes and etc.

 In order to popularize barrier-free house concept, barrier-free house experincing area showed in the exhibition firstly let all visitors in person experience the convenience that the barrier-free house eqquipments provide disabled people’s life.

 Wang Xinxian , Vice-chairman, secretary of the China Disabled Persons’ Federation ,pointed out that handicaped people and elders can live in a better and convenient life with the help of assistive devices. C&R Expo China is not only a good platform for Chinese to learn assistive devices well but also for communication between domestic and oversea assistive devices manufacturers,research department and service department. it plays a positive role in  development of Chinese assistive device industry. 

During three days of C&R Expo China 2009, 180manufacturers and companies from 18 countries and regions participated in. C&R Expo China will be held every spetember.
